Please join us on Wednesday nights from 6:45-8:15 for our
“ Be Strong Bible Club”
and
“Be Strong Teens"
Be Strong Bible Club ~ Ages 3 through 12
Be Strong Teens ~ Age 13 and Up
The Be Strong Curriculum addresses many learning styles by using hands-on activities, maps, animated video lessons, games, picture books, and flannel graphs in the lessons. The scope of the program is also founded on the teaching styles of our ultimate Teacher, Jesus, Who lovingly taught with specific aims in mind. Beginning with Genesis, our first series is called “Creation and Promises.” We will follow along together throughout the Bible, building a Bible timeline on the wall that will eventually grow to 48 significant events! To make our journey through the Bible more personal, our students will have their own timelines during their small group times, where they will attach stickers on their own small charts as we progress. They will also work on session application leaflets, to summarize the lesson through puzzles and review. On the back of their leaflets, students will find 5 brief activities they may complete at home with family through the week, to soak up the Lord's truths even more deeply each day.
Our teens are diving into a study on “God's Will for My Life,” pondering the deep questions we each ask in time... why was I created, why was I born, will God use me, and what is my purpose? Our teachers are showing the teens that we can look to God’s Word for the answers to such questions. Once we recognize our needs, we can depend on the Lord to clean us, forgive us, and help us obey. Rather than turn away from the Bible, we must run to it, and daily depend on it to show us what God says about salvation and how to live our lives. As we explore God's Word from beginning to end, our hope is to strengthen our young people as they interact with scripture and grow stronger in their faith. Just as our theme verse encourages believers to “...be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus,” we want to strengthen young hearts in Christ, preparing them to find the plans the Lord has for each of their precious lives. (II Timothy 2:1)
We would love to bring along more travelers on our journey to “be strong” in the midst of a world that is woefully weak and weary! We would love to have you join us!
We are thankful to God for the opportunity to minister in the Bible Clubs, and we deeply appreciate the support and willingness of the leaders who are faithfully serving each week -- without them and the sacrifice of their time, our program would not succeed. Together, we are looking forward to a fun-filled time of learning, growing, and strengthening our walks with God.
